 {TcF} Officer Ranks

O-1

Second Lieutenant - {SL}

 Info:

The first promotion to Officer Ranks is Second Lieutenant; these troops are tactical, skilled and advanced members. These newly promoted officers are issued ARF (Advanced Recon Force troopers) armour formerly used by the clone manned Grand Army Of the Republic, these troops inherited a large amount of the skills and basic dutys of there clone ancestors such as scouting, and even launching short range attacks on enemy forces. Like all officers and captains, Second Lieutenants are required to have basic speeder bike driving, and combat operational skills.

O-2

 First Lieutenant - {FL}

Info:

First Lieutenant is a military rank and, in some global forces, an appointment. The rank of lieutenant has different meanings in different military formations. In the Republic Military, there is but one ranking of Lieutenant whereas we have two.

 In the {TcF}, these troops stand out the most because of their Grand Army of the Republic's clone commando armour, one of the best armour systems in the known galaxy. These armour suits are equipped Katarn-class commando armour, black under suit with thermally balanced Zero G vacuum suit and survival pack.

O-3

 Captain - {CP}

 US-O3 insignia.svg

Info:

Officially the 7th rank in the Republic Army, {TcF} Captains are given new responsibilities such as officiating battles, mont commonly on foreign non-essential planets like Tatooine, Kashyyyk, and Naboo. These troops are issued the same armor as the once infamous clone commander Neyo, using the advanced Phase II helmet, modified with special breathing holes for high speed speeder bike combat endeavors, or space based operations. The most distinguished part of this uniform though is the harness which most captains chose to attach one or two DC-17 hand blaster holsters to, as well as the occasional thermal detonator.

O-4

Major - {MJ}

US-O4 insignia.svg

Info:

Major is a rank of commissioned officer, with corresponding ranks existing in almost every military across the world. Ranking at number eight in the Republic Army, Majors are also known as Group Captains to it's ajacent division, the Navy.

All Majors in {TcF} are issued Phase II Clone armour used during the fabled Clone Wars, but this clone armour is highly modified to keep up with the technological advances. This includes:a proper resonator (to open secure doors) built into their armour specially enhanced night vision built into the helmet similiar but more advanced then what the Clone Commandos of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) were issued, and a utility belt on their armor included a small attachment harness that a major can clip his standard DC-15S Blaster carbine, most battalions allow their majors to attach DC-15 Pistol holsters to their leg armor, ideally {TcF} Majors are painted with blue stripes.

O-5

Lieutenant Colonel - {LCO}

 US-O6 insignia.svg

Info:

Lieutenant Colonel is the fifth Officer Rank in order of seniority in the {TcF} officer-class system, just above Major and below ARC. Lieutenant Colonel is the first rank a {TcF} clan member can run for a elected position, (Ex: Battalion representative, Brigadeir General, etc.) Lance Corporals are the highest ranking field officer in the {TcF} Military, their job is to oversee with their leaders military operations just below the instruction of a General. These expert fighters are well versed in military tactics and are one of the finest ground fighters in our great galaxy; equipped with the same standard issue equipment as majors, they are often confused with them, but can be distinguished by their generally superior skills, ability to follow orders and experience.

Historical note: From the earliest years of the {TcF}, the ranks of Lance Corporal and Lance Sergeant were in common usage. Marines were appointed temporarily from the next lower rank to the higher grade. As the rank structure became more firmly defined, the rank of Lance Sergeant fell out of use. Lance Corporals served in the system into the winter of 2010 but, this unofficial rank became redundant when the rank of private first class was established in 2011. The lance corporal fell out of usage prior to GGCWI (Great Galactic Clan War - mark I), before it was permanently established in the sweeping rank restructuring of 2011.

  Advanced Recon Commando - {ARC}

 USMC WO1.svg

 Info:

The {TcF} Advanced Recon Commandos were inspired by the Advanced Recon Clone troopers or simply ARC troopers; an elite variant of clone trooper that fought in the Clone Wars,  Although less numerous than the other clones, they were among the most skilled soldiers in the galaxy and, like their ancestors, TcF ARCs are highly skilled and obedient. They are used for tactical extractions, scouting, guarding elected troops, and some times even leading high risk missions on the battlefield.

Although ARC troops can use what ever weapon they see fit, they are generally issued a DC-15x sniper rifle, DC-15s blaster carbine, and a Z-6 rotary blaster canon. These specialized highly trained commando officers are some of the finest commandos TcF has.

 {TcF} Elected Ranks

 O-8

 Brigadier General  - {BG}

US-O7 insignia.svg

 Info:

 Brigadier General is a senior rank in most armed forces around the globe. It is the lowest ranking general officer in some countries, usually sitting between the ranks of Colonel and Major General. A Brigadier General is typically in command of a brigade consisting of around 3,000 troops (3 battalions) in TcF a Senior General is often in charge of 1 to 2 battalions(16 troops).

In {TcF} every branch has a election for one Brigadier General they are below Lieutenant General, and Senior General in authority, but still have a very large say in clan decisions. On the battlefield they often over watch large sections of planetary assaults or, run military installations like Rhen Var Citadel or Rhen Var Harbor Marine Training Base. These generals are often heavily supplied with a back pack, blade resistant fire proof kama, pauldran and double pistol holders, although a large majority of brigadier generals prefer to have no, or just one pistol holster.

O- 9

 Lieutenant General - {LG}

US-O9 insignia.svg

 Info:

Lieutenant General is a military rank used in many countries. In our modern armies, Lieutenant General normally ranks immediately below General.

In TcF the Lieutenant General is second in command of the branch he is elected to, if the general is impeached, killed(loss of internet,), temporary leave over 2 months or quits, the lieutenant general shall temporarily replace the general until he/she is elected unless the general is on official an leave then he can come back once he is able to become active once more. Lieutenant  Generals, like brigadier generals, are limited to 1 per branch. Lieutenant generals during war time conflicts can be placed in command of entire planets, these lieutenant generals are well versed in the techniques and tactics that are necessary to win over planets.

O-10

 {G}- Senior General

http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/318/317590/Commander_Cody_sketch.jpg

 US-O10 insignia.svg

Info:

In our Tactical Commando Force, General is the highest rank for commissioned officer. Those who hold it have the broadest responsibility and authority.

Generals in the clan, also referred to as four-star generals (related as such with the United States Marines), wear four five-pointed silver stars on their uniform to indicate their rank and are addressed as “general” in speech or in written correspondence. In TcF there is a limit of 3 generals (maximum) in the clan one for each branch, being army, marines and air force. These generals are our leaders and can be impeached by a vote in congress, or simply removed from office during the annual winter election. The three (maximum) generals are the leaders of the clan, and must be well trained, loyal, obedient, and skilled in their domains.

The generals, like the rest of clan members, have specialized armor for their general operations, but rarely use their standerized armor, so it's virtually impossible for more then one general to look the same at the same time due to the versitility of the different jobs between the Marines, Air force, and Infantry.

Tactical Promotional Battlefields - created by Rick

What are Tactical Promotional Battlefields?

An excellent question let me assure you. Tactical Promotional Battlefields, or TPBs for short, are short battles preformed by a General and any one member applying for the ranks of Gunnery Sergeant {GS}, First Lieutenant {FL} or Major {MJ}. These battles are designed to test your skills and abilities in-game as part of some requirements for their ranking advancements.

Concerning the rules and procedures on Tactical Promotional Battlefields, which were first introduced in the Promotion and Demotion Rectification Amendment P19, I encourage you to feast your eyes on this 5 part beauty!

1. Space battles are to be held on any STAR WARS: Battlefront II space maps however, if not possible the aerial battle is to be held on Bespin: Plateforms on STAR WARS: Battlefront.

2. TPB for the rank of {GS} are to be held on the {TcF} home world of Rhen Var on whichever map, decided by the applicant.

- In this battlefield test, applicants are to play two rounds, one in which they fight to the death up to 20 kills followed by another where they must defend a Command Post of their choosing while fending off the General’s attacks. This plays out until one player racks up 20 kills and determines the outcome of the Battlefield.

3. TPB for the rank of {FL} are to be held on Tatooine’s Mos Eisley or Jabba’s Palace, whichever map, decided by the applicant. Tatooine: Dune Sea is the allotted location for the aerial battleground.

- In this battlefield test, applicants are to play on a unit counter of 15 without any deaths.

4. TPB for the rank of {MJ} are to be held on Endor: Bunker and both Yavin IV: Temple and Yavin IV: Arena.

- In this battlefield test, applicants are to play all three maps on a unit counter of 15 without any deaths.

5. All TPB are repeatable if failed with no time limit.
