Hey, me and RC started a role play story randomly on Xfire please, post a few paragraphs after some one else posts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Newly promoted 65th Army Battalion sergeant Frostbite monitors the scanners on a dark winter night on Rhen Var staring at the comlink, and the control pannel around it. Boredom was beggining to tourcher the sergeant when suddenly the comlink crackled to life with a frantic message "THEY'VE BREACHED THE MAIN GATE, ENITIATE THE LOCKDOW-*STATIC*" Frostbite frightend and confused by this message just stared at the comlink for a couple of seconds before finally enitiating the lock down. He then heard blaster bolts being fired at the security door and scrambeld towards it...

Frostbite then ran to the armory and grabbed some detpacks, but to his surprise, they were gone! He then contacted the orbiting TcF flagship, alerting them of the invasion.

While the maingate was being attacked General Penguin was watching 3 of the 11th Airborne Battalion practice shooting at the simulated training center under the base. They were not awware of the invasion that was taking place above their heads.

‘‘Sir, we’re being hailed by the planet.’’
Communications Officer Latro looked up to the Brigadier General, who was looking out the starboard transparisteel windows, watching the planet far below them. He turned his head, slightly, and asked,
‘‘Is the encryption code online?’’ Latro swallowed before replying, ‘‘Yes sir. And their code checks out.’’
The commander marched over to the coms desk, the only sound was that of his boots hitting the steel allow of the bridge’s deck, echoing along in his wake. The Negotiator was one of the best in its fleet, and it was kept under throughout command. Reaching the station, he said,
‘‘You may put them through, Latro.’’ ‘‘Yes, sir.’’
The image of a solder, dressed in a standard grey and white jumpsuit appeared in front of them. He looked stressed and had a suggestion of hastiness in his posture.
‘‘Sergeant Frost, what do you need this time…’’ "Brigadier General Billy, the bunker is under attack, and we request your immediate assistance.’’ He sounded stressed as well. “General Penguin is already down here, but we are running out of space to move. We need more snipers to hold them off!”
This wasn’t the first time they’d had a drill like this. Maybe it was some weird recurring gag that General Rick enjoyed, putting them through these drills, set at random times. He’d just about had enough of them; he would deal with this one like every other.
“Frost, by the time I arrive, you won’t need me. It will take at least fifteen minutes to transport a few men planetside.” He straightened himself, “You may inform the defense team that we are unable to provide support.”
Moya sighed and returned his gaze to the computer. During a war, all you want is peace; during peace all you wanted was a war. Or at the very least a mission; but the 701st had been on patrol for over seven months now – seven months of sitting at a computer screen and sorting out data. If only the war hadn’t ended… But those times were over and gladly so; while the formation of the Tactical Commando Force was a secret operation, it was none the less considered treason. They couldn’t’ simply run out into the galaxy every time there was conflict. But that was why they had chosen Rhen Var; a far, lost planet.
“Sir, this isn’t some drill! We are under attack! The enemy has infiltrated the base!” Frost shouted, ducking as a blaster shot swooshed past his head.
Moya looked up – a battle, on Rhen Var? Billy looked down at him, his face unreadable behind his helmet. But Moya had learned a few things since arriving in the Marines Corps and by the way his commanding officer clenched his fists, he knew the Brigadier was anxious.
“Understood, Sergeant. I will assemble a squad immediately. We’ll be there shortly.” He turned to Latro, “Cut the transmission.”
Billy walked past the com. Desk and headed towards the thick doors, leading off the bridge. “Latro, Moya, come with me.”
The two soldiers exchanged a quick look and shuffled out after Billy. Jogging to catch up to his long strides, Moya asked:
“Sir, are you sure we should be on this team? You looked nervous back at the holo…” Billy laughed. “Nervous? No, I’ve been waiting for something to happen for what seems like forever. And it happened – finally. I don’t know about you, but my blood’s boiling for a fight.”
As they continued down the hall at a mild jog, Moya reminded himself to take better notes when studying the Brigadier General.

Patriot as he watched the troops practice their marskmanship was suprised to hear explosian like noises on the upper level, he quickly jogged to the comlink scanner at the door and was shocked to find that it was on lockdown. He quickly pressed the button on his left arms' armor to turn on his comlink and communicate with the main control center. "This is general penguin, come in control." He was shocked to hear no reply but sparatic fuzz and muffled sounds of the metel being hit by some sort of weapon. Suddenly he heard a huge rumble and was thrown from his feet along with the door and the last thing he rememberd was a fiery ploom of flames comming from the entrence.

We were being loaded on to the gunships headed plant side. We were only breifed that there was some sort of invastion and that the enemy was unknown. We all thought this was some sort of training drill but the everyone looked more stressed then normal. Holding my DC-15A close to my side i sat down as they closed the side doors. And all went silent.

Everything was a blur and in slow motion as General Penguin was being pulled from a pile of rubble as blaster shots were hitting all around them. Penguin looked at Yoda, a 11th airborne private that was dragging him to cover, while the other trooper, 33, opened fire with his DC-15A at the enemys pouring through the door. And former clone officer Barney shot with his DC-16S carbine while franticly talking on the comlink to the main control room.

Tel’ruck wasn’t in the best of moods – his forces were being shot down faster than he could call in reinforcements. This Runners where simply having to run too far of a distance and were not up to the challenge… but if anyone was, it was them. This was disconcerting; this attack had been planned by his people for many moons.
His people had worked for many generations, labouring away, protecting the fallen city that was once a house for the Gods, when they visited the Whos’wirk. The White Tears and Shouts had taken away some buildings and covered up others – but still his people worked.
They would destroy the House of the Invaders, and kill them all.
The Invaders where clustered around a funny table, full of slashing stones, and small suns hovering above them. Dark magic! They were evil… and evil must be purged.

As Pvt. Yoda performed basic medical procedures on the half-onconcious general, while Barney was delighted, and shocked as he got a desperate message from the control room. 33 ducking behind cover with the others while reloading ammo desperetly said "We've got to fallback, we don't have enough ammo to hold back a force this large!" Giant rocks went flying from a large calibur rifle hitting a wall near them. General Penguin now half revived gave the order to move to the lower level of the command center.

Quickly checking the radar, Frostbite saw the gunships finally arriving. He heard what sounded like the natives at the door, trying to bust in. Not knowing how many were there, he walked backwards, and set up a sniping position at the top of the staircase. Frostbite then alerted everyone on the public comlink: "This is Frostbite, natives have breached the south wall, I think the doors are too strong for them to break."

BOOM! The radio-room doors blew open with an ear-splitting bang that sent the creatures flying inwards a few meters. Frostbite couldn’t’ see anything, he couldn’t hear anything, he couldn’t’ feel anything; the blast had stunned him. Slowly, the room came back into focus, or what he could from under a desk. Troops were piling in, making short work of the enemy with precise shots. Many voices grunts answered the call of the blasters as the natives, large, burly white haired creatures jumped upon the soldiers. Then, he saw it, amidst the screams of dying men, a blaster lay forgotten on the ground. Frostbite slowly edged towards it, his arms pulling him on. Grasping on the ground for support, he edged himself nearer and nearer to the gun until he managed to touch it. Numb fingers attempted to take hold on the weapon but an armoured foot stepped on the barrel of the gun.
Frost pulled and pushed at the foot, and looked up – to see the blue helmet of Billy. “Come on there,” the last said, as he pulled Frost up to his feet, ducking under a mad swing. “Here, and don’t miss.” He said as the Brigadier General moved back into the fight.

As Billy got back in to the fight with Frost. We had some time with it we were out number big time. Fost was doing his best and I also was doing my best I was hoping we would get some help we needed some help on my mic I was calling out "Help we need help can any one hear me?" After I did that I looked at Frost I saw he was shot in the leg and in the arm. I threw a nade and ran to help him. I told him, "Stay in cover if you fight then fight but, if you can't I will try to make sure you will come out alive. I will try to hold them back if anything happens get your self out of here to help. Don't worry about me!"

As the fighting in the control room ensued the 701st troops were valiant fighters against the hairy beats, but were outnumberd almost 1 to 5, and they were comming from all directions. Frost was on the ground his side leaning on a control pannel with his other hand using his blaster carbine that Billy handed him to shoot the hairy wampa like creatures. The 701st were running low on plasma but the beasts just kept comming through the roof and doors. On Level 2 Penguin and the other 11th airborne troops were falling back to the armory while a mass of the beats were quickly chasing them. After two minutes of carrying the injured general they layed him down behind cover and started opening fire on the enemys.

- Why don't any of you guys have any conversations in your posts...? It makes it seem... boring. –
“Tek’ai yalamas gayastii’ah, gruh sa Whos’wrik!” Tel’ruck said, as he commanded his forces to be on their guard. Something was not right; this was far too easy.
The night was cold, even if they were underground, the icy air from the tubes above were making temperatures drop. Divine influence? Could the Gods have a hand to play in this? Or was he their hand – a ploy? The leader of the Whos’wrik fighting force shoot his massive head; no the gods wouldn’t, send their own people out to their deaths simply to help invaders… it was unthinkable.
“No, the Dream was a gift, a blessing, a chance to eradicate the Invaders… nothing more.” He reassured himself. “Leader!” a voice called, and turning, he saw that it was his brother, Yaru’tilk. “We have them pinned down in two locations!” he grunted in their native tongue. “And this is a good thing?” Tel’ruck sneered. “Force them together – I will not have our forces separated over the convenience of the enemy’s positions.” “But, Leader are you saying this is all part of their plan?” his lesser asked, puzzled.
“This is our time. We were chosen to do something here, and we will see it through.” He turned back to his brother, the swine he was. “And no Invader, no incompetent fighter…” he said, as he thrust his blade into his brother’s front. “...is going to stop us.”
Back to work.

Yoda, Penguin, 33, and Barney layed behind cover, there was a sudden stop to the endless flow of enemy creatures. Every one stayed quiet, listening for the sound of a on comming attack.
With that barney turned around to move towards the direction of the armory but the last thing he saw was white hair before every thing went black.

Wampa's stormed the area. The group opened fire while another wampa was dragging Barney into a cave. Then there was a blue flash throughout the caves. It was former Lance Copral Ross, weilding a Z-6 rotary gun. The wampas began to retreat in fear. When they were gone Ross joined the group.

Before the 701st was out of plasma.
Last thing I heard on the comlink, Rc said; "What are you nuts?! We have maybe 15 shots left and you want to make your way all the way down there?"
"Hmm fine I will come." grumbled RC.
"Ok but i still think your nuts." said RC.
Then he said "I'm shocked your still alive...."

Frost-bugs were simple beings; they had no whims, no desire for power, no real, constructive thought. Life, for them, was simple – you walked amongst the ice, you picked up what was edible and you brought it back to the Hive. Ah, how the Mind rejoiced when meat was found. In the past hour, they had found a very large supply of meat indeed.
Etching his way up to the top of another mound, this Frost-bug discovered the source of loud noises; noises that have been increasingly louder as each Pass returned. White Shells and White Fluff were engaged in what the Frost-bug could only think of as a ‘challenge’. Each time a new female was born onto the Hive, she should challenge the Queen for dominion. If the newcomer won, she would be Queen, if not, she would be eaten.
Oh, he though.
*** “I’m out!” Penguin yelled, rushing behind cover as another blue shot blazed over him. “Dang, these fluffy cushions certainly know how to shoot for beings of near-human intelligence..!”
“You seriously asking me? As if I’d know anything about….”

"Wait Rc there is my room." Billy then approaches the door and slowly opens it. "WHAT THE!!!!" A shot is fired in the fray. RC comes into the room and exclaims "Are you ok sir?" "Yeah I'm always ok, the dam thing jumped on me, good thing I had my pistol close by" "Ok lets get thoses guns." "Don't open any more doors going in too rooms it is a trap they will try to kill us." "I found the gun safe here you go and 15 plasma clips, Hey look! I found my missile launcher. Hehehe, I can use this I have 4 rounds for it. Ok lets go now to level 2" "What level are we on?" "we are on 4 now lets go." After entering level 2, Billy turns back and says "keep a sharpe eye out ."Rc replies, "OK, I will . Hey look! there are the guys they need help big tim." "Rc hold my rifle ok. Missile time when it is clear I will fire. Look they are in cover. ok firing!" BOOM Penguin looks around "What the heck was that!?" he said as Billy comes runing up. "I think I came just in time to save you butt for the seventh time." Penguin replies "Do you ever get tried of doing that." "Nah, it is so fun when I do it." Billy, and Penguin begin to laugh. "Ok now Penguin says lets go to level one and wipe them all from the base. We all say we are right behind you sir!!
