It's not like it's going to flood your browser with ads or give you free access to porn for the rest of your life, or take passwords from your computer and sell them to every hacker in the US. Such things, I do say, are not possible within 3,116 Kilo-Byte packed, zip compressed, archive file. | |

Yes i'm the one with the parential controls, i used to be able to download things until my dad took over the administrator on my brothers and my computer (which we payed for) but as time goes on i might get a new computer and be able to download it. but until then i will play Bf2 and try to regain the skill i used to have on and hopfully see rick on it sometime, and hope to see you guys at the meeting. btw i do still care about TcF which is why i still play bf2 | |

Latro, if you want, try getting a friend who is somewhat competent with computers to put Flashdrive Linux on a flashdrive for you. Then just plug it in to your computer, and you will have an operating system that you are admin of. Use that to download whatever you need, and then transfer it to your computer | |

Small update for the SWBF online... HOSTS file is located here on windows XP: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
be careful if you use Notepad to open this file, as it will make the file name hosts.txt and you need it without the TXT exstension, just: hosts
Here is what I added to my HOSTS file: 198.91.90.160 swbfrontpc.ms4.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 swbfrontpc.available.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 available.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 master.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 swbfrontpc.master.gamespy.com 198.91.90.48 motd.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 key.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 peerchat.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 gpsp.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 gpcm.gamespy.com 198.91.90.160 natneg1.gamespy.com
Just copy that and paste under the file ''host'' and save the file. Then run swbf and click on internet.

It says that I need c:program fileslucasartsstar wars battlefrontgamedata but all i have is C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\LaunchBF.exe so that when i try to patch it it wont work. Any advice. | |
