Well you spelled symbolism right both times Carter, talking to Krats, and it has a very nice meaning...
The Three Stars represent the Three Legions of TcF: Battlefront, Battlefront 2, And Republic Commandos.
The Blue and Grey background colors represent our Home Planet Rhen Var. (yeah I know, It could use a little more.)
