--Things like this can only really be judged if you have had some sort of experience in creating them..
I do agree, lots of SWBF maps don't really capture just right. Doesn't excuse anything though.

Yuck, it's so ugly... Who'd they hire for graphics?! Rule#1 (about level design) Atleast have some contrast when building 3D models.
I think it looks great - and you should see SWBF1 and 2 modded maps - they're all hideous and looks off.
